Need a library card?
Library cards are free to residents of the town-of-Jay. A person from out-of-town may also obtain library privileges for a fee of $20.00 per year. You will have to fill out a brief application for a library card. For Jay residents, two proofs of residency must be shown. An appropriate proof of residence is anything showing the address you are using on your application to sign up for a library card. Some examples are as follows: Driver’s License, State ID, Town tax bill, electricity bill, telephone bill, payroll check stub, current hunting or fishing license. Please also present a telephone number where you may be reached.
We introduced curbside lending to our patrons at the start of the COVID 19 pandemic. We realized that this is a service that we would like to continue even when fully open. To request a book or other materials curbside, contact the Library Director at firstname.lastname@example.org, send a Facebook message, or give us a call. Curbside is easy, just go to our our catalog and let us know that you would like to borrow, call us, or send an email to email@example.com. Once we have your order, we will let you know when it is ready to be picked up and will place it in a bag with your name on it under our portico. Stay safe and be well…
